Despite the very heavy rain, The Craze boys still skiffled for the crowd, with a fantastic response back. They even did three Beatles covers too!
So, who was the special guest? None other than Gareth, the Head Waiter himself from both the original and Haymarket cast, David Benson!
(Pictures are a couple of screen caps from my video.)
7 Videos of the boys, and David, performing coming up.
Also heard that Ben Mansfield and Jodie Prenger were amongst the crowd supporting and singing along to the songs too!
The Craze (and special guest performance) will be performing TODAY outside National Theatre, Southbank, London, UK at 4pm.
Hope to see some of you there if you can make it!

Skiffle on!

Congratulations to the Theatre Royale Haymarket cast on their 100th performance of One Man, Two Guvnors tonight!
UK Londeners!
As part of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee, there are (as you all well know) lots of events going on across the weekend.
I’m very happy to announce that the hottest skiffle band in London’s West End, The Craze, will be doing a free skiffle gig down on Southbank outside the National Theatre, showing off their talent, with a unique once-in-a-lifetime special surprise!
I’ll be there myself, supporting the boys and looking forward to the surprise.
Hope you can come down!
Southbank Stage, outside National Theatre on 3rd June (Sunday) at 4pm - 5pm!
Skiffle on!
ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS: Alfie by way of Tom Edden
For those who’ve had the pleasure to see One Man, Two Guvnors either in September during our first NT Live broadcast, at The National, on the West End, or on Broadway, you often hear at interval the gut wrenches laughs and raves for a certain character that steals the show - Alfie…
“Over the course of the 25-minute dinner scene that ends Act I, Mr. Edden is put through a physical comedy regimen that would tax even the most seasoned clown. He gets dragged by the legs face down; takes a door, a cricket bat and bottle opener to the face; careers offstage on a cart; and takes a piggyback ride.”
Played by Tom Edden, he’s become a character favorite and plays wonderfully with James Corden. Read on for a great profile and if you haven’t caught his shenanigans on stage, check him out via NT Live Encores.
